BRITISH RESIDENCY,
BAHRAIN
(395/3/50)
26th June, 1950.
E ALISH|
Dear Department,
We forward herewith a copy of a Memorandum No. 1551-23
dated 9th April, 1950 from the Adviser to the Bahrain
Government to the Political Agent, Bahrain together with
its enclosure on the subject of permission to print certain
labels.
2. It will be noticed that the quotation given by Messrs.
Alfred Cooper and Sons is contingent upon the permission
of the Foreign Office and the Treasury.
In view of the
object, which is social and charitable, we recommend
the case and would ask that the necessary permission may
be granted for the printing and the export of the labels
to Bahrain.
3.
Owing to an unfortunate oversight for which this
office has been responsible, there has been some delay in
addressing you and we should therefore be particularly
grateful if the matter could be dealt with as speedily
as possible.
Yours ever,
RESIDENCY.
