United States of America Army Survey Mission working in conjunction with Brigadier Papworth D.A.D., Survey, Cairo, are mapping area in Trucial Oman between Qatar and Sharjah. Aerial photography has been done. United States Military Attache requests that facilities for this be accorded to Lieutenant Moor and his party (one other officer and about five enlisted men). 2. None of the party speak Arabic. They propose to work in two companies and will need two interpreters. I shall be glad if this and other facilities may be arranged.
