PROGRAMME FOR
Official Visit to the City of London by The Mayors of Gibraltar, Lake Havasu City and Riyadh from Tuesday, 4th July to Thursday, 6th July, 1989
TUESDAY 4th JULY
12.30p.m. The Official Visit begins with a welcoming lunch at the Savoy Hotel
hosted by the Chief Commoner, Mr. Revell-Smith, and Mrs. Revell-Smith. The Deputy Chairman, Mr. Brian Wilson, and Mrs, Wilson will also be present.
2.45p.m. The Party leaves the Savoy Hotel for the National Maritime Museum,
Greenwich,
3.30p.m. The Party arrives at the National Maritime Musuen where it is
greeted by the Director, Mr. Richard Ormond, and Mr. Pepperell, Dr. Cordingly and Mr. Palmer.

3.35p.m. The Party has tea in the Boardroom,
3.50p.m, The Director and Dr. Cordingly escort the Party through the "Mutiny
on the Bounty" exhibition,
4.50p.n. The Party departs the museum.
5.30p.m. The Party arrives at the Savoy Hotel.
6.30p.m. The Party departs for the Barbican Centre for a Pop Classics
concert.
7.00p.m. Upon arrival at the Barbican Centre, the Party is greeted by
Mr. Deputy Roney, Chairman of the Barbican Centre Committee, and by Mr. Richard York, the Deputy Director.
7.45p.m.
The Pop Classics concert begins.
8.400.m. Drinks are served during the interval in the Sunken Bar West.
9.10p.m. Second half of concert.
10.00p.m. The concert concludes.
10.15p.m.
Dinner is served in the Conservatory.
Midnight
Dinner is finished and the Party leaves the Barbican Centre.
12.15a.m. The Party arrives at the Savoy Hotel.
