his document was found in the possession of one of theleading monbers of the Committee of National Union. Itscontents were known to Abdur A11 Alitat and he had no launuzexcuse for having 10 in his possession. It was found shoztisafter threatening Letters signed "Comandos" had been sent toindividuels in Bahrain, It must be considered that Abaur AliAliwat, one of the members of the Committee of National UnionInow the consequences which would 02109 210 being in possonof the document. It cannot be argued that 1.6 was a private,individual docuant as it is addressed to the People of Bahrain

The intentions which are oozessed in the document includeburning buildings and mining presumably blowing
foreignbuildingo. Abdul Rahman Bad in his speech at Beint whichWaB oported in the A2 Ahadend which he never contradicted, whibit ITOthreatened that there would be burnings and massacres in Bahrainif the British and French Landed in Eypto Part of thesethreats are contained in the resolutions referred to in thedocument found in Abdur Ali Aliwats possession,

the Committee, though Aba Asia Shemian, Acting Secretary,and through Abdul Rahman Baicis, while in C120, endeavoured toobtain the support of a foreig notox - Egypt - in order to bringabout a change in the Coveront of the State

In a letter from Shemlan to Colonel Anuar Sandat, a seniormanber of the Egyptian Government, dated 2.8.55, Exhibit ....Shenzan wites mentioning the ti chor Executive Committees objectesaying in the forefront of which is the setting up of a LegislativeAssembly to seduce the powers of the Ruler. There is noJustification whatever for a Committee of persons in Bahrainwhoso onlginal object was(as stated in their first public notice Io, of 27.10.54)

Another letter, of the same date was found in the possessionof Shanian, which is also addressed to Colonel Anvar Saadat.bit.
** In this letter Shemlan, writingfrom Bahrain as a member of the Highes Ixecutive Committee startsby saying "nãoubtedly you are fully intormed about the nationalmovement whose light has burst forth in Bahrain and which aimsat putting an end to the powers of the feudal.1.stic rulez.
