Foreign Office please pass following to Bahrain as my
telegram No, 8 of January 21.

Brigadier Baird has sent me his passport with a personal
request that I should arrange to obtain a visa for his visit
to Ras Tanura at the end of February for purely private reasons.
I assume that you are aware of this and are satisfied that there
is no Foreign Office objection. If so, I shall apply for a visa
though of course there is no guarantee that the Saudis will grant it.
