• Wilfred Thesiger, which includes a draft of a telegram to Jeddah regarding the activities of Thesiger and the intervention on his behalf by St John Philby (1676)

• The report of a local Amir of Thesiger's appearance at Wadi Sulayil [Al Sulayyil] to the King of Saudi Arabia, who ordered the entire party into jail. After Philby had interceded with the King, Thesiger was released (2208)
• A summary of the travels of Thesiger. It includes a report on a conversation with Philby, who the King has allowed to go south to see Thesiger. Thesiger had not, as previously reported, been put in prison, but had been well treated (3236)
