  • Arab refugees deported from Zanzibar to Oman contrary to international practice. Sultan Saeed Bin Taimur accepts responsibility only for his own subjects (Omanis born in Oman) and will not allow Zanzibar subjects or any others to land. It includes discussion regarding the citizenship status of Zanzibaris who are now effectively stateless and the added complication of documents being destroyed (6)
  • The Sultan of Zanzibar Sayyed Jamshid Bin Abdulla Al Saeed and his brother seeking permission to live in the Sultanate of Muscat and Oman and Sultan Saeed Bin Taimur's intention to send a stalling reply (8)
  • A formal complaint from the Zanzibar Government protesting the continued presence of Sayyed Jamshid in Britain and the existence of the 'Zanzibar Organisation in the United Kingdom'. The British warn Sayyed Jamshid's secretary Ahmad Kharusi about the production of political leaflets (9).
