This file contains correspondence relating to:
- Conversation with the Commanding Officer of the Kuwaiti Air Force Major Marzuq Ajil. Ajil expressed strong Arab nationalist sentiment, dissatisfaction with the position held by the Sheikhs in Kuwait and opposition to the secondment of an RAF officer when the Hunter aircraft arrive (1)
- Request that the Air Ministry supply RAF type hangars for Kuwait to house the six Hunter aircraft due for delivery in December 1963 (2)
- Question of providing training for Kuwaiti pilots in using the Hunter aircraft and an RAF offer to send an instructional team to Kuwait because there are no training places available at Chivenor in the UK. This is not expected to be acceptable to the Kuwaitis (3-4)
