  • Opening of a telegraph office in Abu Dhabi. The Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Shakhbut Bin Sultan Al Nahyan has offered a concession to International Aeradio Limited (IAL), but there is concern that this might infringe on an earlier concession granted to Cable and Wireless Limited (1)
  • Proposal to install a telephone link between Dubai and Sharjah and the perceived advantages this would bring for both security and commerce (2)
  • Discussions regarding the costs of installing the link and the need to gain a sufficient number of subscribers to cover this cost (3-5)
  • Proposed purchase of new transmitting equipment for the RAF radio station in Sharjah and the question of the range over which the station is entitled to broadcast. Included is a short explanatory note regarding the establishment and purpose of the RAF radio station in Sharjah (6-7)
