FINANCIAL TIMES Cutting dat G 313911 RISE IN PERSIAN GULF CARGO RATES With the exception of a small number of items which have re ceived special consideration, all rates of freight from the usual U.K. loading ports to all usual ports of call in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman will be increased by approximately 10 per cent. The new rates will apply to shipments made by vessels com mencing to load at individual loading ports on or after October 1. A similar rate increase will also apply to shipments from north Continental ports. NOTHING TO BE WRITTEN IN THIS MARGIN. M.F.P.
