We spoke again this norming, and here is the list of arms
captured in OMAN as compiled so far. It in ncomplete in the material
is still coming in, and the Sultan's armed forces had given some arms
away to local tribesmen which tuneludes probably 20-30 rifles.

The items marked X are of United States origin. It is possible
that some of the .5" Browning ammunition isalso of US origin, although
it may have been manufactured in UK.
At least one of the US anti-tank mines was marked to indicate
that its route from the United States to Oman was via Saudi Arabia. The
fact that all anti-tank mines captured are of US origin suggests that
most if not all of those actually laid by the rebels were also of us
origin.
