Frontiers between Muscat and Trucial States p.103

FO 371/132797 1958
Sharjah. The frontier then continues southwards to
Daharat Rimth, where it crosses the Wadi Ham,
leaving Bilaida etc. to Fujairah, and to Al Naid.
Thence it runs to the westwards between the Wadi
Ayaili (Baria) and Wadi Hilu and along that
watershed.
8) RAS AL KHAIMAH FUJAIRAH FRONTIER (North)

After investigations in 1956 and 1957 on behalf
of the Political Agent Trucial States the following
boundary was laid down.

The boundary runs from Ruq to Lisal, passing
north of the Ghafat Trub and from Lisal to Ned
Maidag, running north of the Wadi Marragh. From
Ned Maidag it shall run to Ras Wadi Bina, Ras Wadi
Arar and to Liwarain leaving Khilais to Ras al
Khaimah. From Liwarain the frontier shall run
northwards along the Masafi-Asimah camel track,
through the centre of Baha to Ned Rumaila (which is
west of Ned al Bidi) and then to a point south of
Ned Saumari. The line continues westwards, leaving
Ya'ala to Ras al Khaimah, crossing the Wadi Lihiyal
in a southerly direction, east of Faqi, and re crossing it west of Hattiya, so as to leave those
two places to Fujairah. It then runs to Ned Yizara,
to the junction of the Wadi Sidr and Wadi Likhi al
and to Jebal Fai north west of that junction. From
Jeb al Fai it runs along the watershed between the
Wadis Qub and Sidr leaving the formerx and Saft to
Ras al Khaimah, to Sidrat al Qora at the head of
the Wadi Qub. From Sidrat al Qora the frontier
passes to a point in the Wadi Ma'atarada west of
Hasat al Wasum and then runs down that Wadi to
Harri al Hamara, leaving Haili to Ras al Khaimah.
From Harri al Hamara the border follows the camel
track through Sih Rafadha, (Negaira) leaving in Ras
al Khaimah territory, and then passes through Sih
Shiamat to Ned al Kaud just south of Sharam.
