• Action taken to announce certain internal frontiers. In only one case (Dubai-Sharjah frontier at Abu Hail) did the proposed settlement not receive the tacit acquiescence of both Rulers concerned (1)
• Plans by Petroleum Development (Trucial Coast) Limited to send seismic parties to Sharjah to survey the best site for drilling and Colonel G de Gaury's wish to send a geologist to search for minerals in Trucial Oman (2)
• Measures taken to define frontiers in order to assist Petroleum Development (Trucial Coast) Limited to start oil drilling operations in Sharjah. Also includes letters of announcement of frontier settlement to the Rulers of Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Sharjah and Dubai (3)
