For several reasons, Britain is eager for decisions to be announced as soon as possible, but mindful of its implications for the Buraimi arbitration (1-4)
• Report [enclosed] on the internal frontiers of the Trucial States, compiled by the Assistant Political Agent at Dubai J F Walker. It examines 36 areas and contains 12 appendices. One reason for the report's creation was pressure from the oil companies for delimitation of the frontiers (5-6)
