Muscat Government have notified this Consulate of
following communiqué issued today.

Begins.
Muscat 0730, December 15.

Forces of the Sultan of Muscat and Oman are today
taking action to suppress a treasonable conspiracy against
the sovereignty of the Sultan Said Bin Taimur. Indisputable
written proofs have been found that certain disaffected
Sheikhs have been plotting for some time to disrupt the
Sultanate with the aid of foreign gold, arns and propaganda.
To restore confidence and answer the petitions of loyal
subjects and to preserve peace such intrigues can no longer
be tolerated.

Ends.
