(b) Two fog lamps may be fitted to the front of motor vehicles in addition to the head lamps
provided that the beam of light given by such fog lamps shall be directed in such a way that they shall not dazzle.

(c) Two white side-lamps shall be fitted in front on the wings of motor vehicles in such a
manner that they shall be clearly visible for a distance of at least 150 metres provided that they shall not dazzle or cause annoyance to other road users.
These two side lights shall be used to draw attention to motor vehicles when they are parked or stopped on non illuminated roads at night.

(d) Two red lights shall be fitted on the rear of motor vehicles in such a manner that they shall be clearly visible at night for a distance of at least 150 metres in rear of the vehicle.
These red lamps shall be illuminated whenever the car is using head lamps or side lamps.

(e) A white light to illuminate the rear number plate of motor vehicles shall be fitted except that it shall not throw a direct beam on any place other than the number plates.
This light shall be illuminated when any of the front lights of the motor vehicles are in use.

(f) A red light shall be fitted, if this is not already incorporated in the two red lights under
the provision of sub-para (d) of this Section, which shall give warning whenever the brakes are used for the purpose of reducing speed or stopping.

2. Two reflectors of red coloured material visible at night for a distance of at least 100 metres
when the beam of another light is directed towards them shall be fitted not more than 40cm. from the extreme right and left of the rear of heavy motor vehicles, buses, tractors, mechanical
equipment or trailers. No motor vehicle shall be driven on any road at night unless the lights fitted give clear indication
of the width of the vehicle.

(42) All motor vehicles shall be fitted with traffic indicators of any one of the following types :
1. A movable arm extending outwards from the body of the vehicle on both sides and having a
permanent orange colour light when the arm is horizontal. 2. Flashing lights fitted on both sides of the motor vehicle giving white or orange light in front
and red, white or orange light in rear when in use.

( 43 ) Trailers shall be fitted with rear lights which comply with the provisions of paragraphs (d), (e)
and (f) Section (41) (1) of this Ordinance,

( 44 ) 1. Every motorcycle shall be fitted with one head lamp capable of being dimmed so that it shall
not dazzle or give annoyance to other road users to illuminate the road in front of the motor cycle and which complies with the provisions of paragraph (1) (a) of Section (41) of this
Ordinance. 2. Motorcycles shall also display a red light in rear which complies with the provision of parag raph (1) (d) of Section (41) of this Ordinance.
If the motorcycle has a side car attached to it, it shall also have one side light on the front of the side car.
